Gordon's War O.S.T. US Original Pressing Packed with Rare Groove Masterpiece Samples

Original soundtrack of the 1973 film "Gordon's War," starring Paul Winfield, a 20th Century Fox production, a Blacksploitation masterpiece. Features the soulful vocals of Barbara Mason, with the deep soul track "Child Of Tomorrow" sampled by Brand Nubian ("Coming Years") and Lloyd Banks feat. Jadakiss ("Chosen Few").

The funky wah guitar and sharp drums of "Just Plain Luther" and the intense horns of "He'll Be There" are amazing. The mellow groove of "Come On and Dream Some Paradise" by New Birth is also a highlight. The powerful drum breaks throughout "Tell That Man To Go To Hell" make it a B-Boy classic.

"Super Shine " by Sister Goose & Ducklings, covered by Osaka Monaurail and featured on DJ Muro's mix CD, is also great. The track "Hot Wheels," sampled by Blade ("The Coming Is Near"), is thrilling. This is a masterpiece of rare groove, with no filler tracks, a truly monumental OST album.
